The installation consists of paintings and a sculpture. The paintings depict the structures of stories. Each is accompanied by a graph, describing the narrative model. The paintings have therefore no story to tell, but merely describe ways in which a story can be told according to traditional structures. Corresponding with the paintings, the sculpture does more than suggest a single linear narrative; one might imagine it containing all possible variations of one and the same story.
